Arts education receives support from a number of organizations and governmental agencies. Arts organizations represent teachers, parents and the community. Some of these groups have broad interests in all of the arts, others an interest in a specific art form -- or a specific method of teaching. State and national education and arts agencies also have considerable influence on what and how the arts are taught and presented to children.
