Theatre Education: A Resource of Practical and Project-Based Warm-ups/Theatre Games for K-12

Two Truths and an Untruth

Where we learned it: Summer camp
Age: 2nd grade and up
Materials: None

 

Process:

  1. Left Arrow Callout: ®  _ ? Sit in a circle.
  2. Take turns going around the circle.  Have each person share two true statements about herself and one false statement.  The rest of the group needs to guess which statement is false.

Variations:

  1. Divide the group into pairs and have each partner learn the other person’s statements to share with the group.
  2. You can use a subject other than yourselves, e.g., research Shakespeare and then share two true facts and one untrue fact about his life.
