Theatre Education: A Resource of Practical and Project-Based Warm-ups/Theatre Games for K-12

Red light!  Green light!

Where we learned it: Elementary school playgrounds
Ages: Kindergarten and up
Materials: None

 

Process:

  1. Left Arrow Callout:  ® ? S This is set up exactly like the traditional version of the game with a twist.
  2. When the caller says, “Green light!” she must also name a specific way of moving.  For example, the caller could say, “Green light move like a snake!” or “Green light move like Marilyn Monroe!”
