Rain
Where we learned it: Creative Drama at ASU

Process:
Ask students to sit down cross-legged in a circle.
- The facilitator will begin by rubbing hands together like she is trying to warm up.
- The facilitator will pass this motion to the student next to her so that gradually all the students join in as the motion gets passed around the circle.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she begins to snap fingers and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she begins clapping and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she begins stomping feet on the floor and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she returns to clapping and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she returns to snapping and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she returns to rubbing hands and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- When the motion returns to the facilitator, she rests hands on his/her lap and passes that new motion to her neighbor.
- The facilitator waits to speak until there is no more sound or movement.
