Theatre Education: A Resource of Practical and Project-Based Warm-ups/Theatre Games for K-12

Question Game
Text Box: Skills 6 ÑO
Where we learned it: Acting class at NU
Ages: 3rd grade and up
Materials: None

Process:

  1. Left Arrow Callout: ® ? Ask the students to sit in a circle.
  2. The facilitator begins by asking the student sitting next to him/her a question such as, “Why is the sky blue?”
  3. The student must answer the question by asking the next student a different question such as, “How are you?”
  4. This continues until someone cannot think of a new question quickly or answers the question.  This person is now out of the game.
  5. Keep playing until there is one winner.

Variations:

  1. Instead of people getting out, have them answer one of the questions asked during the game and then start up a new round.
