Pass the Clap

Where we learned it: Acting class in high school
Grade: 3rd grade and up
Materials: None

 

Process:

  1. Left Arrow Callout: ® ?¯ ¸_ Have group sit in a circle.
  2. Facilitator begins by turning to the right and making eye contact with the person sitting there.  This is person A.  The facilitator and A must clap at the same time.
  3. A must turn to her right and make eye contact with B.  They must clap together.
  4. The clap continues around the circle as quickly as possible.

Variations:

  1. Try passing multiple claps around the circle at the same time.
  2. Try doing it with eyes closed.
