Theatre Education: A Resource of Practical and Project-Based Warm-ups/Theatre Games for K-12

Ages: 4th grade and up
Materials: None

 

Process:

    • Left Arrow Callout: ® ? !_ Divide the class into groups of 3-4
    • Give each group a topic such as “A time you were scared,” or “Your favorite birthday ever.”
    • Each person in the group tells a story of her own that fits the topic.
    • The group then picks one story that they all are going to tell.
    • They all learn the story and try to make it their own.
    • Each person in the group tells the story to the class and the class tries to tell to whom the story really belongs.
