Find Your Mother Like a Little Penguin

Text Box: Skills  ÑO ?ß  Where we learned it: Improvisation with Youth at ASU
Ages: 2nd grade and up
Materials: Cards with animals written on them (each animal needs to be written on at least two cards), blindfolds (optional)

Process:

  1. Left Arrow Callout:  ® ? _ Pass out one animal card to each student.
  2. Ask the students to close their eyes (or blindfold them).
  3. They now need to make the sounds of their animal to try to find the person who is their same animal.

Variations:

  1. You can have two or more cards with the same animal so that the class will end the activity in pairs or small groups.
