Third Grade Dialogues about School.
Characters: Setting: School playground Mary: You sure do like to swing! Alyssa: Yeh! I love it when I go up in the air! Otis: Hey! Get off that swing! (Gives Alyssa a push) Alyssa: That hurt a lot! Mary: That wasn't very nice! You hurt my best friend. Otis: Aw, who cares. Mary: Otis Spottford! If you don't stop it, I'll tell. Otis: Then you'll be a tattletale. Mary: I don't care. Alyssa: Please be nice. Otis: No! Alyssa: (Ignoring Otis.) Mary, would you like a turn?

Setting: school playground Ralf: Joe! Why did you bring a moose to school!?! Joe: He's my moose and I can bring him to school if I want to. Ralf: The principal won't be happy when he finds out about this! Principal: Joe, what is this moose doing here? Do you remember the rules? Ralf: It's for a. . .a. . . Principal: I'm waiting. Ralf: A show-and-tell project! Principal: Well, all right. Joe: (quietly) Nice job, Ralf.
