Appropriate Grade Level:
Preschool – 12

Programs:
ASU Herberger College at Large & for Kids, a non-credit community school of the arts, invites Valley children to the Tempe campus on Saturday mornings to participate in reduced- or free-tuition workshops throughout the academic year.  ASU ArtsLab combines new and existing programs: Children’s Art Workshop; Children’s Dance Workshop; Children’s Music Workshop; ASU String Project; and Children’s Drama Workshop (formerly known as Imagination Corporation) for an educational morning of fun-filled classes. These programs serve as laboratories for undergraduate and graduate students from each of the Herberger College of the Arts’ academic units: the School of Art; the Department of Dance; the School of Music and the School of Theatre and Film. While under the supervision of their professors, arts education majors interact with children, ages 3-15, as they hone their own teaching skills. Other year-round classes for PreK-12 are available as well as summer camps and workshops for all ages.

Cost: Varied; financial aid available
