Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Mission Statement: To provide quality experiences in various aspects of modern and contemporary art, architecture and design for children of all ages, offered to school groups and the public. Programs are offered to enrich existing school programs and to encourage sequential, curriculum-based arts education in the schools. The Scottsdale Cultural Council oversees the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts.

Classification: Professional, Non-profit, Modern and Contemporary Art, Architecture and Design.

Facility: Exhibition spaces are located at 2nd Street and Drinkwater Boulevard at 7374 E. 2nd St. adjacent to the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.

Program/Exhibits:
Guided tours of exhibitions, slide outreach presentations brought to schools, workshops and artist residencies, exhibitions of youth artwork (Young@Art Gallery)

Members, Sponsors, Grants, City of Scottsdale, Donations, Program Fees, Admission Fees

Appropriate Grade Level: K-12

Costs:
Free admission to museum for school groups; free slide outreach presentations brought to classrooms; Arts Day programs (including exhibition tour, performing arts event and hands-on art project) $5 per person
