QSpeak Theatre (a program of 1n10)

Mission Statement:
1n10 provides a safe environment for LGBTQ youth to develop positive self-acceptance through life enhancing programs.

Classification: non-profit

Program Description:
QSpeak Theatre is an award-winning program that uses true stories and experiences of LGBTQ youth to educate about stereotypes, prejudice, bullying and harassment.  QSpeak Theatre offers a fun and informative way to look at some of these challenges while creating a safe and supportive environment for young people and adults to actively engage in an important dialogue about real people, real issues and real solutions.  QSpeak Theatre meets Saturdays August 25th- November 17, 1:00-4:00pm at the Nelson Fine Arts Center (10th. St & Mill Ave) on the ASU-Tempe Campus.  New participants are always welcome, no prior performing experience required! 
 
Appropriate Grade Level: Open to ages 14-22
