Lesson 3: Creating a Political Cartoon

Introduction

Now it is your turn to create a piece of propaganda. You will draw a cartoon to express your views about some issue of importance to you.

OBJECTIVES

In this chapter you will:

  • Draw a cartoon that communicates your viewpoint about an issue that is important to you
  • Write a critique about your cartoon

(These goals meet the Arizona Visual Arts Standards 1AV-P1 and P3.)
