Costs:
$30 - $37.50/Hour.
Single presentation minimum, $75. plus travel if outside greater Tucson.  Ensemble rates vary according to number of artists and hours.  (Multiple hours, sessions qualify for lower rate per hour.)

Program Description:
Music is a Metaphor:  Consultations, Lectures, Workshop/Demonstrations and Performances for students and/or teachers.  Dr. Jarrett can be booked as a single artist or with a small performing/teaching ensemble.  She also runs a studio called Vocal Technique Studio in two Tucson locations. 
Dr. Jarrett (Ph.D. Ethnomusicology) is a professional musician, arranger, ensemble leader, journalist, administrator and educator with wide experience in academic and community organizations. Dr. Jarrett is also a scholar with the Arizona Humanities Speaker’s Bureau.  A professional jazz singer, she has also performed in a wide variety of genre. Interactive workshop/demonstrations and performances include Rhythmic Systems of the World, Jazz and Improvisation, and Latin Music and Dance. Please contact for full offerings.

Teacher training sessions facilitate faculty in integrating arts and culture into other disciplines in a practical, effective manner.
