 AAEA Professional Development and Scholarship Fund     
  PURPOSE: To provide funding in whole or part for an active AAEA member
for the purpose of:

A. Further study in Art Education (tuition)
B. Attendance and participation at a convention, conference, workshop, seminar, etc., dealing with Art Education (travel, and/or registration)
C. Attendance and participation in leadership workshop/seminar which provides leadership training (travel and/or registration)

FUNDING: Funds will be limited to money generated from annual interest accrued from a Certificate of Deposit Account designated for such purposes.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES: Applicant must complete PDSF Application form and return it to the Selection Committee by October 1. Application submitted after this date will be reviewed and considered on the availability for funds.

SELECTION
PROCEDURES: The Selection Committee will have no less than three members, including the following:

1. Current AAEA Treasurer, Committee Chairperson
2. Current AAEA Council member
3. Current AAEA Member-at-large

Appointments to this committee are the responsibility of the President. Members will serve a two-year term. AAEA Executive Council members are not eligible to receive funds through this fund while serving on the Executive Council.

AWARDING OF FUNDS: Applicants will be notified by October 15 of awards. Applicants must provide verification of attendance/participation with paid receipts. Money will be reimbursed directly to the applicant after verification is received by the AAEA Treasurer.
